Note: sth means something while sb means somebody. One’s is replaced with a possessive pronoun such as your, my, his, her, etc.

1. Keep to oneself

-We don’t know anything about her, she keeps everything to herself.

-A man feels so insignificant against its vastness that confidence no longer seems something to keep to oneself.

2. In kind

-He returned the insult in kind.

-उसी प्रकार,वास्तु रूप में

-She insulted him and he responded in kind.

3. A kangaroo court

-The judge runs a kangaroo court-he tells rape victims they should have been more careful.

-न्यायपूर्ण व्यवहार न होना

-He leads the reader into assuming that the tribunal is anything other than a kangaroo court.

4. For keep

-We’re separating for keeps.

-हमेशा के लिए

-At the same time for keep appeal of price, PC manufacturers try hard to reduce circulation cost of marketing channel.

5. Hold the key

-The policy-makers realised that holding the elections regularly holds the key to vibrant democracy.

-प्रमाणिकता देना

-Police believe must hold the key to tracing the killers.

6. Kill or cure

-His position wasn’t very strong, and yet he decided to fight the re-election in a kill or cure gesture.

-प्रबल कार्य जो या तोह पूरी सफल करेगा या बर्बाद

-Having a baby can be kill or cure for a troubled marriage.

7. The knives are out

-The knives are out for the captain following his team’s poor performance in last five games.

-कुछ लोगो का गुस्से में होना जो आलोचन करना चाहता है

-The service is in ferment at the moment, the knives are out.
