Note: sth means something while sb means somebody. One’s is replaced with a possessive pronoun such as your, my, his, her, etc.

– it is too soon to make a judgment about sth

– निर्णय लेने में जल्दबाज़ी करना

5. easier said than done

– sth seems like a good idea but it would be difficult to do

– करने से कहना आसान है

Finding the perfect house was easier said than done.

6. take the edge off sth

– blunt the effect of, reduce the impact of

– प्रभाव कम करना

His apology took the edge off her anger.

7. at the end of the day

– in the final analysis

– आखिरकार

At the end of the day, it’s his decision.
