Note: sth means something while sb means somebody. One’s is replaced with a possessive pronoun such as your, my, his, her, etc.

behave recklessly or dangerously

Despite the profit-making prospects in this it has been treated with utter contempt on the grounds that charity begins at home.

5. get sth off one’s chest

– relieve one’s mind by confessing or saying sth that has been repressed

– अपना अपराध मान कर अपने दिमाग को मुक्त करना

I had spent two months worrying about it and I was glad to get it off my chest.

6. child’s play

– very easy work

– बहुत आसान कार्य

The test was real child’s play.

7. keep one’s chin up

– be stalwart and courageous in a difficult situation

– अडिग रहना

He’s still keeping his chin up despite all his health problems.
